Book Cake

This is a 2 mix cake baked in a Book shaped cake pan and placed on top of a 1/4 sheet cake. It is iced with buttercream frosting. The pages were made with a 21 cake decorating tip. When the icing had set, I painted the pages with gold luster dust. The top was made with 2 edible images. One was light house and the other was made by using my computer to create the wording, then printing it off with my edible computer (edible paper and edible ink).

ABOUT ANGIE
Angie Rombeck-Smith is a mom (and very young grandmother!) from Northwest Missouri. Her passion for cake decorating came out of a desire to make the cake an event of it's own and use unique and innovative decorations. She says that when she grows up she wants to be Margaret Braun.
