Wishing Wave Bottle

"Remember-All"
Wishing Wave Bottle
... each guest gets to make just ONE wish!

Create a quick and inexpensive Wishing Wave Bottle (directions below) and a Wishing Bag (directions below) for each guest prior to the party.

Remember-All Wishing Wave Bottle

You'll need:
Oil
Water
Plastic cup
Food coloring
Empty plastic soda or water bottle

Directions:
Fill a bottle 3/4 full with vegetable oil. A clear bottle will work best. Fill a plastic cup with water and add a few drops of food coloring and stir. Add the colored water to the bottle with the oil, and screw the lid on tight. Turn the bottle sideways, and watch as the color moves through the oil in funny shapes and blobs.

 

Wishing Bag

You'll need:
Glitter (gold, green, yellow)
Sequins (various colors)
Metallic Stars (various colors)

Directions:
Fill small clear plastic bags with an assortment of glitter, sequins and stars, tie off with purple and red curly ribbon. Add a tag with the guest name (if desired).

When ready for the wishing to begin:
Provide a Wishing Bag to each guest so when they make their wish secretly, they can add the contents of the bag to the Remember-All Wishing Wave Bottle. Screw the cap back onto the bottle and let the guest whisper their wish to the bottle so no one can hear them and shake the bottle so all the contents are scattered. Set the bottle back onto the table and watch the secret wish get put into a spell!
