Heart-y Sandwich
Temptingly delicious... this heart-shaped sandwich
is worth a hundred words of delight!
Serve on a bread board with red and white napkins
to complete the Valentine theme.

1 (16) oz. loaf of frozen
white, wheat or Italian bread dough
Filling Choices:
Roasted vegetables
Ground beef
Tuna or chicken salad
Ruben sandwich fillings
Cold cuts
Sloppy Joe Mix
Scrambled eggs
Thaw frozen bread in refrigerator overnight or at room temperature.
Spray heart pan with vegetable pan spray.
Place thawed bread dough in pan, press to conform to shape.
Let dough raise 1 1/2 - 2 hours or until it is doubled.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Bake 20-25 minutes.
Cool 5 minutes,remove from pan and cool completely.
Split the cooled bread and spread with choice of fillings.
To reheat or heat Reuben or scrambled eggs, wrap in foil and heat in 350°F.oven for 10-15 minutes.
To bake with seed topping:
After bread has risen, brush top ofeach loaf with
egg wash (mix 1 egg yolk and 2 tablespoons water)
and sprinkle with sesame, poppy or dill seeds.
Bake per directions above.
