Such an easy theme to tie in with a brunch at a church or organization celebration of Father's Day or anytime of the year for a fun-and-laughter filled get-together. Make it a Block Party with a barbecue or a fundraiser for a community celebration. Each man (and woman...) wearing a tie received an Ugly Tie-shaped decorated cookie.

Buy some ties from a thrift store to have on hand for those guys that
comes without a tie (and there are men that don't own a tie...)

Let the men know that they do NOT have to wear a shirt,
the tie can be worn over a tee shirt, sweatshirt, etc.

Reach back into your closet and bring out those ugly ties that were once considered the height of fashion or make your own. One father wore a tie made out of construction paper his children made him 15 years ago, so creativity counts!
