These centerpieces are oh so cute, easy and inexpensive to make. We put them next to vases of fresh flowers but smaller vases could fit inside the bag...

Inexpensive brown lunch bags found at the grocery store were decorated to create a stand-up centerpiece.

Circles were cut from construction paper for the faces and decorated with doll hair and movable eyes (craft store), yarn, ribbon, etc. These faces were attached to the brown lunch bag and a decorated tie was added... voila! All done.

These ties were made using lightweight cardstock, make a cardboard tie template and cut out ties approximately 6 to 8 inches long. We used different designs of napkins and cut out the designs and glued them to each tie so that all are original and cute!
