Use a bowl of any shape line with cheesecloth leaving extra cloth on the edges to wrap up at the end. Next... open a can of refried beans and use a 1/4 to 1/2 inch layer as your first layer on the cheesecloth. Next layer with guacamole then sprinkle grated cheddar cheese. The next layer is a little trickier as you have to place dollops of sour cream around the bowl and then spread evenly. Then place dollops of beans again and spread evenly. Cover with the excess cheesecloth and then refrigerate preferably overnight. To complete prior to serving - unwrap the top of the cheesecloth and place serving platter upside down on top then flip so that the platter is on the bottom and bowl is on top. tap gently and remove the bowl. Then top with olives, tomatoes, green onions and garnish... |
