PIRATE SHIP
on Waves
Cake
Angie made this cake is for her grandson who turned 8.
It is 1/4 sheet cake as the base. The waves were made from baking two cakes using the Sports Ball cake pan. Each ball shaped cake was cut straight across and set on the cake in different heights.
The enitre 1/4 sheet cake and ball shaped half cakes were covered in buttercream, after which a spatual was used to defined the waves. Angie used three different colors of blue using an airbrush. As a final perfection, she pearled the enitre cake using Luster Dust
and then added the Pirate Ship.
