2-Pc. Stand-Up Jack-O-Lantern Pan Set
Tips 4, 10, 12, 21
Ingredients:
Orange, Black, Violet, Leaf Green Icing Colors
Roll-out Cookie Dough Recipe (following this recipe)
Buttercream Icing
Directions:
Tint cookie dough. Cut out bat ears and wings. Thin cookie dough with water to a piping consistency. Using tip 4 and thinned cookie dough, outline bat wings. Bake and cool. Set aside. Trim stem from jack-o-lantern cake. Ice mouth area smooth. Cover cake with tip 21 stars; overpipe eyebrow and nose areas. Pipe tip 12 eyes, flatten with fingers dipped in cornstarch. Add tip 10 dot eye centers. Add tip 12 pull-out teeth. Position cookie ears and wings securing with dots of icing, if necessary.
Serves 12.

ROLL-OUT COOKIES
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsps. baking powder
3 cups flour
Preheat oven to 400°F. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer. Beat in egg and vanilla. Mix baking powder and flour, add one cup at a time, mixing after each addition. The dough will be very stiff; blend last flour in by hand (if dough becomes too stiff, add water, a teaspoon at a time). Do not chill dough. Note: Dough can be tinted with Icing Color. Add small amounts until desired color is reached. Divide dough into 2 balls. On a floured surface, roll each ball into a circle approximately 12 inches in diameter and 1/8 in. thick. Dip cutters in flour before each use. Bake cookies on an ungreased cookie sheet on top rack of oven for 6-7 minutes, or until cookies are lightly browned.

Makes 20-24 average size cookies.

Ingredients:
Leaf Green, Orange, Lemon Yellow, Brown, Sky Blue, Black Icing Colors
Ready-To-Use Rolled Fondant
Buttercream Icing
Cornstarch
In advance, make fondant leaves: Tint fondant green, roll out thin and cut various sizes of leaves using cutters from set. Add veins using veining tool from set. Let dry in various shapes on flower formers dusted with cornstarch. Set aside.
Directions:
Lightly ice front smooth; trace face pattern with toothpick. Outline section of pumpkin with tip 3. Pipe in mouth, nose and eyes using tip 7 for pumpkin (pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch). Overpipe tip 3 dot irises and pupils (pat smooth). Cover pumpkin with tip 16 stars. Ice top of stem smooth; cover sides with tip 3 strings. Attach leaves to stems with dots of icing. Position leaves around cake. Serves 12.
