1 pound Medium size carrots, peeled and cut into 1-inch pieces 1 cup chicken broth, unsalted 1 tablespoon soft tube margarine 1 tablespoon shallots, minced 1 teaspoon sugar 1/8 teaspoon black pepper 1 tablespoon lemon juice 1 clove garlic, minced
