Dips.....
Let's Make.... DIPS
(and Veggies)
I have made dips and while I am a grandmother, I've not made dips
with the grandchilden, but it is never too late to try.
This turned out to be a fun recipe, great for kids and grandchildren with parent's help.
If your children have friends help them, can you imagine them telling their parents
they made.... Dips?
How fun is that?
This would be a great activity for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts,
Brownies, Cub Scouts, Campfire Girls, YMCA and other youth groups, too.
Read the recipe out loud and let the kids get all the ingredients,
measuring spoons, etc.
Ingredients:
16 oz. sour cream
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 envelope Hidden Valley Ranch Original Ranch Dip mix (1 oz.), Lipton onion soup mix
Assorted vegetables (carrots, celery, zucchini, cherry tomatos and any other raw vegetables of your choosing)
Directions:
Peel and cut up the raw vegetables, refrigerate until needed.
Put sour cream and mayonnaise into a bowl, add ranch dip mix and onion dip mix, blending very well.
Place dip into a dish, add vegetables, also crackers and chips if you so desire.
That's it, dip is done.
ENJOY....
