Take off the chill....make Debra's Easy Potato Soup! 1 T. Butter 1/3 cup chopped onion 4 cups skim milk 1 cup instant mashed potato flakes, can use 3 cheese kind. Parsley, salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste.
Place 2 T. of butter in saucepan with 1/3 cup onion, cook until onion is soft. Add 4 cups milk, cook on medium heat until milk is hot, but not boiling. Turn off heat and stir in instant mashed potato flakes. Add more for desired thickness. Optional I use 2 cups of cheddar cheese or any kind you like!
