Daffodil Cake
GREAT for...
Easter, Spring, Garden Parties
and...
OH SO EASY
TO DECORATE !
Simply frost an angel food cake with pale yellow icing. Buy an already-made Angel Food or Spongecake from your bakery or grocery store and save a lot of time!
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you are baking an Angel Food cake, let the cake stand and air dry for about an hour before attempting to frost it. The frosting will stick to the cake much easier.
Make colored frostings as you desire to decorate the cake for stems, leaves, messages and borders.
Use a plain round tip, pipe green stems up the side of the cake, then with a leaf tube, pipe leaves up the side of the cake.
OH SO SIMPLE NOW:
Add pre-made Sugar Shapes by simply placing on the frosted cake where you want them.

That's all there is to it for a simply delightful and appreciated dessert that can also be the table centerpiece!
