I love you Website and visit often! Here is a baby shower cake I did recently, each layer had rolled fondant baby items on it. I separated the layers with 45 degree angled cut Styrofoam circle that was covered with tissue paper. The topper is also rolled fondant baby booties. I had made those up a few weeks early to allow for them to dry, that way the Mommy-to-be could have them as a keepsake. I also made enough to give one to everyone that attended as a favor. I put them in Wilton Party Bags and attached a verse to each favor "Thank You for starting Baby Blake off on the right foot.." Also on the cake table, I displayed baby photos of the Mommy-to-baby. We only served ice cream and cake at the shower. However we had a table set up with every ice cream topping you could think of. As well as bananas and fruit for those healthy ones. Everyone had a great time! Of course, they loved the idea of the baby shower being an ice cream social. Mommy-to-be had a healthy 9lb baby boy on June19th, 2002. Hope this will be helpful to someone looking for something different to do at a baby shower. Laura Ferrante Florida! |

This is a cake I made for my cousin when she had a baby boy. I'm 18 years old and took up fondant decorating less than a year ago. This is my 14th cake I've made so far. Shoshanah Hirsch |
