Default Hors ‘d orderves/Appetizers

Baguette slices with marinated tomato slice, mozzarella, and basil shredded

Puff pastry cut into squares put into mini muffin tins then put your artichoke dip into it… after heated it makes a wonderful finger food – you can use any kind of hot dip or stuffing mix even fruit pie filling… the edges from the squares puff above and forms little shells – very pretty.

Filling Ideas:
Pie Filling
Cheesecake Filling
Artichoke Dip
Spinach Dip (cold is great if you bake the shells first)

The one I like is you can purchase from your bakery might have to hung around to find one that does colored bread. Then have it sliced and without crust if they will do it and use your cookie cutters and cut out small sandwiches, use peanut butter and jelly, or black olives and cream cheese, or spam or I suppose anything you want to try. Also one of the mom's at school did green colored bread and did up cheese sandwitches which we used a cookie cutter before we cooked them up. She did a tree, but JoAnn's has big cookie cutters seaonsable of if you have a Michael's they carry them. I assume Hobby Lobby does but we don't have one here in MT.

We should be on the look out for Hors ‘d orderves/Appetizers as the holidays are approaching and what a great idea. I have seen little weiners done in the rapped dough (frozen section like cressant rolls used).

One of my favorites is the little baguette slices with fresh tomato slice, fresh mozzarella slice and fresh basil on top... it is soooooo yummy.

Another favorite is hot artichoke dip.

My kids love pickle dip - so simple it is just cream cheese blended with dill pickles and a little of the juice if the pickles are too dry.

Idea if you don't have the time is Sam's and Costco's carry types that are ready made and some you heat up some you just server. Easy and fast if you don't have time.
