Valentine Decoration & A Game Too

Decorations and a Game:
Use a small tree (branch type used for Easter and other holidays). Make small hearts to hang on them with ribbon. On the back of each heart right the type of heart it will represent and color, make it up accordingly:

Rough heart - sandpaper
Broken heart - torn or cracked
Warm heart - made from flannel or felt
Heavy heart - made from wood or metal
Light heart - covered with feathers
Cold heart - Painted and sprinkled with white glitter
Sweetheart - made of candy
Sour heart - color of lemon
Stingy heart - thin
Generous heart - fat and plump
Sad heart - blue
Jealous heart - green

These can be used as part of a game. Blindfold a person and let them pick to see what type of heart they have.

You could do similar things for any holiday....just change it from Valentine's to St. Patrick's to Easter to Halloween to Christmas and anything I forgot between. Sounds like fun.

Actually I have an Easter Tree it is white and I put red hanging heart decorations for Valentine's, Easter decorations for Easter, and I assume you could use it for any holiday. If you can't find an Easter tree and now is a great time to look 50% off you could cut a branch off your tree with several sprouts and then spray paint it white and stick it in a good pot and secure it down and have yourself a white tree to decorate for all seaons.
